Ned Australian Whisky would have to be my favourite whisky at the moment. Unfortunately, it’s a little hard to find, so I don’t buy it as often as I’d like, especially when the closest bottle shop to my work, Dan Murphy’s no longer stocks the straight bottles, only selling warm cans.
It has been matured in American Oak barrels and is made in Melbourne.
I believe the first time I had Ned Australian Whisky was at a charity event raising money for the 2019 Australian bushfires. The event was an open bar and Ned had a sponsored booth giving out free straight whisky on the rocks. My workmates and I hung around this booth much of the night and fans were born.
